Hi! Sorry for the long delay in writing, but we've been having so much fun and we haven't been able to get online. About a week ago, we visited Saguaro NP and the Pima Air & Space Museum. They both were really cool! Our day started at Pima and we got to walk around and see about 300 airplanes. My favorite one was the SR-71 Blackbird, which is the fastest plane ever flown. It's a beautiful plane! After we were done seeing the airplanes at the museum, we went to the airplane boneyard where they put all the retired planes. They had around 4,000 helicopters and airplanes in the boneyard. It was pretty incredible to see all those airplanes just sitting there in long lines, one after the other! Believe it or not, we then went to Saguaro NP (the east park). A saguaro is a cactus that looks like it has arms. They only grow in a very special environment and that is why the park protects them. Did you know they can grow up to 50 feet tall and can live for over 200 years? We saw some with no arms and some with five or more! At Saguaro there are also many other types of cactus like prickly pear and ocatillo. When we were in the gift shop of the visitor's center we found some cactus candy made from the prickly pear and it was actually really good! Keep checking in for Guadalupe Mts. and Carlsbad Caverns!
