Hi y'all! We started the day with snow and hiking to one of the many view points of the Grand Canyon. It is amazing! We saw many buttes making the Grand Canyon and some of the California Condors that live in the area. Then we went to the Visitor's Center and listened to a ranger talk about the geology of the Grand Canyon and how is was made. We went to one of the lodges that sit on the rim of the canyon and had lunch. After that we went one a 4 mile hike on the rim trail. We saw a bunch of wildlife like elk and squirells. It was really fun and long, but very beautiful. Seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time is really amazing, you can't really believe how beautiful it is until you see it for yourself. When we finished our hike, we had hot cocoa (which felt and tasted really good) at Hermit's Rest. It is called Hermit's Rest because the stage coach stopped there for a rest, but it was a very remote location. After the hot cocoa we had Luke do his signature pose and went back to the visitor's center to get our Jr. Ranger badges. After we left the Grand Canyon we went to see the IMAX movie of the Grand Canyon. It was awesome! It told all about the history of Grand Canyon and showed a lot of pictures of the canyon from the Colorado River. We are going to Saguaro and the Pima Air Musem so keep checking in!

We love the Grand Canyon, it is so beautiful but a little too hot for me. You were lucky to be able to wear coats , lol. How often does happen?

Great pictures. Looks like a lot of fun!
Keep wondering when we will see Dad AND Mom doing the firepower pose?
Hi Wulf Family!
I am finally catching up with you on your adventures...I popped in before but did not have time to leave a message...my kindergarten friends were coming back from recess. Great pictures...it looks like you are having a lot of fun! Your pictures of Mesa Verde bring back fond memories for me...I think I was about Luke's age the last time I was there...time to take my family back. Caitlin, You are doing a very nice job documenting your travels and Luke your poses are stellar. I pray you are all enjoying your well-deserved family time. We miss you!
God's Blessings!
