Summer Adventures with the Paulsons

Hi everyone! I'm not sure when the last time you saw my family,
so I've included one from this summer. Of course you know Mike,
me, Caitlin & Luke, but you may not know my mom and
dad (Lee & Donna Paulson) and my sister (Jennifer).
They all hail from Colorado, except when my parents come over for
their summer stay - then they hail from Eagle Crest.
This summer was full of family outings to the pool,
to the beach to visit my grandmother, to Mt. Bachelor,
camping and just fun stuff around town.
So here are a few pics from some of those family times together.
Enjoy!
My mom's birthday (I won't tell you which one though)!

We purchased a trampoline for the kids as a reward for doing
such a good job when Mike was gone to Afghanistan.
It has been so much fun for all of us!
The kids love it when Mike bounces them high in the air
and I like bouncing to get my exercise!
We will be packing it up and storing it for the winter,
then next year we can do it all over again!
We visited Mt. Bachelor twice this summer, once with Jennifer
and the other time with my parents for the sunset dinner.
Below is the day we went with Jennifer - a gorgous,
perfect day to ride the chairlift and see the mountains!
Here are Caitlin & Luke in front of Mt. Bachelor
before it lost all it's snow this summer.

Behind them is Bend in that valley.
This is the day my parents joined us for the sunset dinner at the lodge on Mt. Bachelor.
Here are my parents (Donna and Lee) riding the lift up and enjoying the sights!
Mike and the kids going up the chairlift too!
It's another beautiful day in the Oregon Cascades!

We watched the sun setting while we ate dinner in the lodge.
Mike got some amazing pictures of the sunset!
Well, when we finished dinner, it was almost dark
and the ride down the chairlift was a bit chilly, but cool!
It was a nice evening, but we were all ready to head home!
One of the big attractions during the hot days of summer is
to float the Deschutes river through town.
It's a slow moving, very relaxed, cool yourself down voyage
that you can't help enjoying (especially if you are with the right people!)
So here we are below on our "party island"
My dad is taking these pictures from one of the several bridges we float under.
