Badlands

The Wall that separates the upper
prairie from the lower prairie.

The coyote greeter when we got in the park!

Jr Ranger time
Pronghorn were everywhere!
Our only Mt Goat sighting - except it was fake.
Wall, South Dakota always has free water for visitors.
Riding the Jackaloupe
T-Rex almost eats Dad!

Today we went to Badlands NP. It was beautiful! There were huge white rock formations and lots of prairie. When we first came in we even got a coyote greeter! The Badlands had very nice weather when we were there, but most of the time it is ether really really hot or really really cold, a place of extremes. After we ate lunch we went to see fosiles that the rangers had found there. It was cool! Luke and I also got our Jr. Ranger badges. When we were done visiting the Badlands we went to Wall Drug. Wall Drug is where the people of Wall, SD would help tired and thirsty settlers by giving them free ice water. We got free ice water too and had a lot of fun looking around the tourist tra. I got some rocks and Luke and I both got candy. Keep cheking in for Devil's Tower tomorrow and then onto Yellowstone!
