Just getting started

* We are starting a family blog. We'll do regular postings to let you know what is going on in our lives. We will back track a little in the next installment and start with Mike's homecoming, just to get you caught up with the summer events.
* Above picture was taken on a hiking trip to Doris Lake with the Hoffmann Family this summer (2007). It was a great day to be outside and enjoy nature!
* By the way, not all of you have met our dog, Cody (sitting in front of Mike). He was 18 months old at the time of this picture and is a black lab/border collie mix. We picked him up at the Humane Society about 4 months before Mike left on his tour of duty and have absolutely fallen in love with him! He loves to play fetch with the frizbee (sp?), enjoys long walks (especially off leash!) and goes to daycare 2 times a week to play with all his buddies. He is a fabulous addition to our family!
