Schlotzsky's Send-Off Event

The Send-Off Event was a huge success and a lot of fun to boot! It was wonderful to have an evening where we could ignore the impending separation and just be pampered with good food and great company. Schlotzsky's Deli did a terrific job of catering the event! There was a family friendly comedian, dancing, professional pictures being taken for free, children's activities, door prizes, raffles, goody bags filled with donated items for the soldiers and gracious speakers from the state, county and city that let us know for certain that "Oregon" was behind thier soldiers and military families. Thank you to the American Red Cross, Bend Elks, various Veteran's Organizations, Oregon Workforce, Caring For Troops, Central Oregon Military Family Assistance Center, the ROTC cadets that served the meal and cleaned up, Schlotzsky's and lots of other sponsors that made this event so special for all that attended!
